As you all know, Mothers Day happened today and there are now two more budgies added to the list. Pretty greys, one with a white head and one powdery grey head.
Did maccas for breakfast (I don’t usually eat the crap but breakfast is okay 3-4 times a year) coffee in town, darts in the afternoon with family, cooked tee, dead pig chops n steamed veges. Just tv for the evening.
In our household we have two dogs, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel-Millie, a Foxie with other breeds involved-Jessie, three cockatiels, Joey Rosie and Charlie, two Canaries-unnamed and a budgie-Lemon. (Idon’t know where that name came from). Joey is about 12 years old and my favourite. He says all sorts of things and whistles the theme from The Adams Family.
The class today on communication using Marks videos was a hoot.
Fawlty Towers are the best comedic example of real life you will see
anywhere. These sorts of people are to be found in all the places you
frequent, and they seem to be there in front of you when you are in
a hurry or need help with something yourself.
Saturday night was spent at the party of my sons girlfriend in Thurgoona.
Was a great night, with a fine time had by all. About 100 over the evening came and went with the average number at one time round the 60 mark.
The lot of them were well behaved, (except for 1 stupid shiela who was not getting enought attention so she overdosed on pills). Good music (for the young ones), good booze and good food.
I was designated driver so only 2 drinks for me then soft drinks, never mind there’s always next time.
Sunday was catching up with friends, meeting new friends and just stuffing around.
A visit to the optometrist today.
The first appointment two weeks ago threw the poor bloke (new Australian, just out of opt school) into a flap, he couldn’t get a correct reading on my right eye. Had to see a senior eye Dr today.
New lenses and new frames……$800 that’s the ouch
I hope to be able to see things a lotttt more clearly soon.

I read some poetry and found out that Ford utes make daughters ashamed of their fathers. and Pa’s are good at giving advice.
Linda is away for the weekend but I hope to catch up on her blog about what she got up to. Hint Hint Linda.
It has been interesting in class today!!! Finding out how this site is changed to suit the purpose you want to put it to.
As with most of these “newfangled electronic you beaut” modern adult proof sites, I find if I click on enough places I can make my way through.
I really wish that compputer technology was this advanced when I was a youth………I know, wishful thinking
good to see the enthusiasm in class today, but then it seems to me that most of the class have taken to the blogs with the intent hoped for.
Anzac Day’s been and gone again and the same old faces turned up today. Good drinking weather tho
Photoshop this morning and I reckon I learn as much as my student does, then I show my kids at home. Double value !!!!!…….. How’s that for cheap.
